Sukyo Mahikari: Ardennes educator in prison
The Union, April 10, 2004 by Christophe Perrin
Children's welfare emanation of the General Council of the Ardennes, houses the Mahikari sect members. Justice has indicted three individuals. Since Thursday, a special education teacher is in prison.
Social assistance to children of the Ardennes, in charge of the child in difficulty, is in turmoil since incarceration of Isabelle Rota-Rossbach, a special education teacher, stationed in Charleville-Mézières since the 1980s.
Official of the Council General, in charge of tracking children placed by justice homes or foster families, was arrested Tuesday by police officers from the departments of Reims, then placed 48 hours in custody.
At the end of its examination, the mother, Member of the Japanese sect Mahikari (read below) was developed under investigation for abuse of weakness on minors, denial of care, moral violence and non-presentation of children. Despite the support of its hierarchy, it has then been imprisoned in remand of Châlons-en-Champagne. If the facts are true, it is liable to five years in prison and 750,000 euros in fine.
Two other educators, a man and a woman were put into consideration and placed under judicial supervision with the prohibition to exercise their profession.
Francis Rota-Rossbach, teacher, husband of the educator examined, yesterday denied any comment, but promised to fight back by his lawyers. At the same time, a close source of inquiry announced some other warnings review imminent.
Alerted as early as 1996
Yves Pardonnet, CEO of departmental services and Ardennes Didier Hamel, Director of social interventions, gathered yesterday a good part of the day. Case makes big noise, as Danièle Villière, Secretary of the Union CGT, health had alerted them orally since February 1996, and then sent a letter to Roger Aubry, then President of the General Council on 16 December the same year. "It is destructive educational personal danger to a sect are in contact with children entrusted you by the judge, while they are already in danger at home and that they proved fragile, vulnerable, in great pain," wrote Danièle Villière.
"Even though the mentioned facts we are concerned, it nevertheless bring evidence that personal beliefs affect professional activity." "Fault tangible elements, I can't inciting the greatest caution", replied Roger Aubry.
Joint last night, same Roger Aubry explained that he had learned this week of Mahikari. For further information, it referred to Benoît Huré, his successor from 1st April to the Presidency of the General Council.
Despite the denunciation of the presence of members of the Mahikari sect in the hierarchy of social services, despite the complaint with constitution of civil part of the mother of a child placed, the situation has persisted.
"For two years, I have an example of a child found in the claws of certain people, and her mother could not retrieve," denounced Danièle Villière.
Up to the day where the change of Attorney of the Republic and Director of health and Social Affairs has accelerated the investigation.
Ardennes childhood in danger:
a disturbing new report
The Union, April 17, 2004 by Christophe Perrin
Social assistance to children of the Ardennes is not only in the sights of justice suspected sectarian practices three educators. 82 Pages administrative report denounces abnormalities.
A report of the General Inspectorate of Social Affairs (Igas) on abnormal functioning of child welfare (ASE) of the Ardennes on the Office of the Minister since late March. Marie Thérèse Roig, who succeeded Jean-François Mattei at the head of the Department of family, is only empowered to make public a report for confidential now. Children's welfare emanation of the General Council following nearly 600 children at risk, is in turmoil since the examination of an educator and two educators (our April 10 editions).
Educator, charged with abuse of weakness on minors, loss of moral violence and non-presentation of child care is imprisoned since more than a week. It belongs to the Japanese sect Mahikiri.
Alerted by the DDASS, Reeve has requested an inspection at Igas.
Arrived in October in Charleville-Mézières, four inspectors were hunted for four months service disruptions and the influence of a sect. "On the subject the existence of sectarian attitudes-sensitive mission has not been updated abnormal behaviours, but succession ESA service operating procedures to cover bad risk", conclude the inspectors.
Testimony over fifty families
Is there a link between this administrative inquiry and investigations of the judicial police of Reims? Officially not. And yet the investigations are complementary.
An educator is accused of having deducted voluntarily legitimate parents children. This is one of the cornerstones of the investigation of the departments. Meanwhile, Igas reveals acts of abuse, neglect in children victims compensation management, opacity of the monitoring of minors. to the extent that the report was forwarded to justice.
Igas have discovered, among other anomalies as meetings of mandatory evaluations educator, homestay, the social worker, psychologist. assembled, short, entire multidisciplinary team, around of the child in danger, were never organized in some constituencies. What challenges Direction Ardennes social interventions (Disa).
"Stakeholders had more access to records of children." A situation that we've denounced as early as 96, but nobody had us taken seriously ", said Danielle Villière, former Secretary of CGT health."
"The compartmentalisation of services was such that it allowed these to isolate children and educators working in a vacuum," denounced a former employee of Disa. Report highlights lack of follow-up educators, internal strife and succinct assessment reports in the field of Psychiatry.
While the principle is, insofar as possible, never sever ties of blood, some agents appeared to be inverse professional practice. Over fifty families have testified to that effect.
For two judges of the children, authority under which working social workers, they have support near 300 records each. Difficult in these conditions to discover potential slippages in children mentoring.
Offerings in new tickets
ClicanooJuly 5, 2004 by Sébastien Laporte
Documents troubling Island log provided shows that the lessons delivered to Réunion antenna, at least until 1999, tended to disparage medicine and to encourage offerings in "new ticket". New evidence just illuminate the functioning of this strange Japanese original organization to which a few notables Island adhere. More than 300 people fréquenteraient 80 regular followers.
Association Sukyo Mahikari France represented at the meeting by the Dionysian antenna in the Camp-Jacquot alley (at the bottom of rue Maréchal-Leclerc) would benefit from a "sphere" of larger fans that she is willing to recognize it. In our last Monday Edition which revealed the existence of this structure in the island, the languages are indeed déliées…
Recognized as "dangerous" by the 1996 parliamentary report, and then analysed in the 1999 report on sects and money (by a commission of inquiry of the National Assembly), where the Japanese home organization is ranked among the eight richest sects of France, it counted more than 300 "supporters" on the island. At the heart of the structure, we find 80 regular and dedicated enthusiasts. A retired framework of mutual is at the head of the Dionysian room a few years.
According the déléguée régionale Centre of documentation, education and action against mental manipulation (CCMM), Dominique Pothin no complaint related to this sect did object judicial proceedings on the island.
"The enslavement psychologically coaxing him money"
. This association is attempting to accompany victims of sectarian movements or their loved ones in their efforts. However, a complaint well filed in 1998 the Tribunal to Saint-Pierre, by a man whose women had been victim of Sukyo Mahikari. It is a complaint against X for abuse of vulnerability that has remained a dead letter. The individual whose anonymity is preserved, explained: "my life is difficult to live, this group took advantage of the ignorance of my wife to persuade it is capable of cure by imposition of hands." People that I have had to meet with told me that she was free to believe what she wanted. "I do not adopt beliefs, but I am very worried about its capacity for discernment and his free will". Completing writing: "the sectarian movement takes advantage of his weakness and his ignorance to psychologically enslaving it him money scam".
This evidence is all the more extraordinary that its author was itself part of sect, led by his wife of away in recognizing the danger he faced.
Particularly serious he relates were confirmed by a series of documents obtained the log of the island. It comes to collections of precepts and statutes (future) followers should read entering Sukyo Mahikari as well as "testimonials", or at least texts as such by the managers of the structure in order to convince their new recruits and orient them. These documents were issued in the premises of the Réunion antenna at least until 1999."Search for themes in the teachings of Sukuinushisama and Oshienushisama"-understand Okada, Japanese officer who founded the sect, and daughter who today heads movement established in France - branch is a particularly stunning booklet as such. It reads the example to follow course, a schoolgirl who retains all his savings and then "an offering for the Grand Temple world", today the Japan built.
"Own tickets that will appeal to God"
These monetary donations are regularly recommended to pages. The world in which operate the children, including the school environment is presented as "polluted". On the other hand, those who know the Mahikari movement knows the bonheur… The mission of each must be "the new global civilization", to which he is also often alluded. "The solution to the food crisis, the realization of the médicale… revolution" are presented as being prepared in the near future in a "Radiant light farm" in the Japan. "To save others, money is also indispensable." "To build a new civilization, it is necessary to have major funding", can be read. Sukyo Mahikari leaders thirst for money. From elsewhere in other Binder entitled "Documents for an elementary Mahikari introductory course", chapter "how to make an offering", clearly explained that God Su has a weakness for the coin of the realm: "it is recommended to prepare, on the eve, his offering envelope", then "we will try to keep own tickets" car "this will appeal to God". Deity, therefore, seems to prefer new tickets!
According to one source close to the record sums of money thus collected should not be also important than in regional metropolis antennas or other Dom. It must be said that after fifteen years of implantation, Sukyo Mahikari does not have a number of very important followers versus La Martinique. In addition to these offerings organization receives money from internships for two or three days she produced once a year and would be charged to about 120 euros per person. The parliamentary report of 1999 (read below) showed that the sect in France, has developed a very complex system of massive funding.
Denigration of medicine
However, there are worse. Because in addition to these incentives to pecuniary "offerings", Sukyo Mahikari advises his followers to Shun medicine, sometimes even in the event of serious illness. In the first document we cited earlier, "testimony" is unambiguous: "my daughter spent his youth with a kidney problem requiring dialysis therapy and was rescued from the day where she received a copy of the prospectus of Mahikari entitled 'The life of Yoko'". As to endorse his comments stated that the story is written by an "expert in science". Convinced of what she argues, it ends by explaining it spreading now "Mahikari among my students". A mother later, tells about her son: "one day when he had a serious lung problem as I was concerned I've forced him to take medications, what he absolutely refused to say he didn't die." He vomited instantly and stamp rolled just at my feet. I asked forgiveness to God, my son. I am more worried me and his condition improved immediately. 'Really, I received much help from God through the Group of parents'. Followers seem convinced the powers of the gestures that are taught for some time. Education Foundation is actually on the purifying power of what they call "light" that they think power broadcast with their hands. At the same time medical care are belittled. The words of the founder go further when he speaks of those who "to grant brazenly doctorate, while they have only partial knowledge and bigoted." "These are the servants of the Devils", which "incite men to absorb poisons through all channels, they engage in the poisoning of mankind".
A bailiff at the controls of the sect at Saint-Denis
This set of precepts, added to terror maintained evil spirits, determines the new followers. In his Prime Minister made destined report in 2003, the inter-ministerial Mission of vigilance and combat against sectarian aberrations (Miviludes) insisted on the danger of these denial of care. "Health professions are regulated to protect patients against the quackery." "Deception of sick, esoteric or aberrant diagnostics, illusory processes, products or magic or supposedly secret remedies are however reported, often linked to sectarian behaviour", concluded the authors could only advise a reminder of the legislation.
Miviludes in another proposal ("raise the legal professions to the sectarian issue") that highlighted "professionals of law notaries (huissiers…)" are brought to know their clients personal situations. In this private sphere, it is essential that they can identify the existence of a sectarian way in order to prevent harmful (fraudulent abuse, héritage… uptake) heritage or extra-patrimoniales operations "." However, fills irony, one of the previous leaders of Sukyo Mahikari was… Réunion antenna a bailiff. Her study, specializing in the auction is always located at Saint-Denis. For the defence of parliamentarians might specify that this professional law, namely Alain Merle was (local) ordering of the organization around 1998, until the report is written. At that time, Sukyo Mahikari was less insular and rented space larger than today, to Sainte-Clotilde. The structure already presented itself as an association law 1901, what it is actually at the national level, according to official records. Contacted yesterday, his study sent Island log queries the dress, man who was in metropolitan France.
The lucrative face of Mahikari
ClicanooJuly 9, 2004
According to the 1999 parliamentary report, the lucrative face of Mahikari consists of three companies in which the Japanese cult holds stakes: a foreign corporation located at Luxembourg (LH Yoko Shuppan Europe SA), a travel agency (HIKARI France) and a specialized Sarl, according to his statement to the trade register in the formation and organization of Congress (LH France).
The latter is owned by a Japanese cult organization and society in the Luxembourg where pay significant fees (1.2 million francs in 1995). The travel agency was established for the purposes of the association of Sukyo Mahikari, central organ of the French branch, which is an extension, all of its customers being composed of enthusiasts for which it organises trips to the Luxembourg or the Japan.
The report puts the sect among the eight richest France. Its heritage was estimated at 60 million francs and its annual budget of CHF 15 million. Sukyo Mahikari has received from its members 9.7 million francs in 1996. However, Mahikari has not agreed to disclose the amount of its assets to the commission of inquiry, finding this information "confidential", "judgment which seems to mean that his fellow fortune is significant enough to merit being kept secret", says the report. In any case, says the same document, these assets must represent tens of millions of francs. Indeed it was clarified in the replies to the questionnaire of the Committee that this association takes its annual revenues from financial investments ranging between 1.1 and 1.6 million francs.
Real estate fortune of Mahikari relies on the property of places of worship throughout the departments where Aum enjoys a hearing.
A senior officer of the association, a Luxembourg resident, said before the Commission paid cash offerings were transferred to the Luxembourg in 1995, date at which he requested that these practices should cease.
Strange sect in Saint Denis
ClicanooJuly 5, 2004 by Sébastien Laporte
Classified as 'dangerous sects' by the parliamentary report of 1996, it counted about 80 followers, including notables of the island.
It is locally led by a former Executive of mutual.
Sukyo Mahikari France: inclusion on this small alley Camp-Jacquot, Dionysian home mailbox at the bottom of the
Rue Maréchal Leclerc, leaves no doubt. It is well a regional antenna movement classified as "dangerous sects" by
the famous report parliamentary 1996 Vivien had indexed as the movements of this type.
Founded in 1959 by a former Japanese officer, Yoshikazu Okada, the sect has experienced an internal crisis until his death in 1974. After a war of
succession between the designated heir and adopted daughter of the founder, Keiju, two factions were formed and rub so far: Sukyo
Mahikari, Keiju, network represented in France, and Mahikari Bunmei Kyodan alone. Today, Sukyo Mahikari (light of truth)
count of 500,000 followers around the world, including a small thousand in France. At the meeting, they would be between 70 and 80 to follow the
precepts Okada. Their implementation dates to fifteen years.
The regional branch of alley Camp-Jacquot's absolute discretion. The sect rents an apartment F3 equipped with a sheltered balcony with
eyes. The local is under police surveillance over a decade, as required by the new legislation. No complaint has
However was registered.
When the visitor moves the portal, it must then climb a staircase which overlooks a bearing blue paint. A whistle blow and the door
is entrebâille safe, leaving appear suspicious naming. Screens lined calendars hide the bottom of the piece. "You"
"are good representatives of Sukyo Mahikari sect?" This question, the answer does not wait: "We are one"
"association." In the absence of the "Manager", no information was estdonné to unknown.
Initiatory journey to the Japan
Responsible for said earlier framework in a mutual, is today ' huiretraité. It defends itself from being a guru. The sect would count among its
followers a few notables, recruited mainly among the professions. It operates according to the relatively mundane principles: the
Members follow a journey of initiation based on three niveauxconcentriques revealed almost everywhere in the world over the years
by old believers.
The first would appeal to General considerations of humanity originesde, medicine, spirits, and especially a presentation
official founder, Yoshikazu Okada, whose mission was depurifier individuals and transmit divine powers to others.
New adherents receive a pendant must bear constantly and must seek to turn recruiters.
Fear of the spirits is reinforced.
The second level consists of involvement more marked in the life of the local (named dojo), in prayer and a kind of nipponisation.
The Japanese language, Japanese customs are indeed becoming place in everyday life fulfillment.
It is recommended to make donations, money for the cause of Keisu.
Third level is an internship of several months in Japan, a centre which trains specific units, where the discipline is very
thrust. Everyone is free to leave when he wants, but are reminded at the same time enthusiasts that the wrath of God may strike
anywhere. Emperor of the Japan plays a central role in this strange device. Drift in such a system may well
heard occur at any time. Because new recruits are gradually placed in psychological weak position. It is then possible to require many of them, including the sommesd' money or undue devotion to sect.
Réunion antenna is listed as a philosophical or religious association (law 1901). From the Vice-President of the Association of defence families and individuals (ADFI) in Ile-de-France, which handled several cases related to this sect, "SukyoMahikari is well established in the Dom, but especially in the West Indies." "Atel point that we now wonder if it affects surcertaines of judicial decisions", he explains, to clarify that for the moment none of the files followed by ADFI in this context is bound to the meeting.
Local alley Camp-Jacquot has already sent at least one of commitment to Japan for the third level. The fact is confirmed by the
"Manager" of the antenna local itself. Adfi, those that are sent to the Japan are intended to become Mahikari frameworks.
"No more strange than yoga"
Recruitment in the island would be mostly by word of mouth to ear. The local "Manager", who wishes to remain anonymous, of course denies any
sectarian aspect, but acknowledges he also went to the Japan when he was living in metropolitan France.
Is believer for about twenty-five years. According to him, Mahikari structure is not pyramid more than one
business, and nothing did there would be imposed on the members.
Thus practices which enthusiasts engage in dojo "are no more strange than yoga" or prayers. He refutes
also the suspicions of the rites of purification, healing, attempts and psychological pressures - just like the port of
pendants and sums of money that would be led to pay followers.
"Mahikari was despite all our efforts on a list of so-called sects"says, speaking of the parliamentary report
1996, "the case is sewn of white yarn, manipulation". He denies therefore block. With regard to the presence of minors on the premises
reported by a former follower "responsible", explained ' as a result of the accession of families.
Sectarian teachers: families accuse
Since the incarceration of an educator from social assistance to children of the Ardennes, distressed, private families for years for their children out of their silence and filed complaint.
Charleville-Mézières parents followed by social services, they voluntarily cut their children? Since the incarceration of an educator, Member of the MahikariMahikari, sect and the indictment of two other officials of the General Council of the Ardennes, each week brings its lot of revelations and complaints.
To the interest of the child members of social assistance to children of the Ardennes are accused of being originally of sectarian drift. Patrick Talois, 46, Securitary and ill, denounced a system which he characterized as "totalitarian": "When my wife is a party in 1990, leaving me alone with my three children, I was completely lost." I have taken the initiative to temporarily entrust my children to social services. I've never failed, for thirteen years to retrieve it. And when I was complaining about me be required the order to shut up "." He and his daughter Jessica, 18, now inseparable, come to lodge a complaint, a month after the indictment of three educators "for abuse of weakness", "denial of care"and"Act of violence".
Jessica points out the singular attitude of its last Homestay: "they systematically disparaged my father."They were blackmailed: If you're not going to see it, thou shalt have thy pair of rollerskates. And never did we met, my sister, my brother and I. I am glad to know that my father has never abandoned. "I am so glad that our relationship is intact despite all they have done."
"We've been destroyed"
Accusatory remarks Jessica repeating to the investigating judge who is not in need of evidence. A hundred families complain about the actions of the social services sector Charleville-North.
To Patrick Talois, hurting, "a team of educators worked in isolation, enacting its own rules in defiance of the law and families."
Ironically, Patrick Talois raised two children from her companion. But impossible for him to live with her own children a traveling in foster care, foster went adrift.
Patrick Talois refused screaming revenge, but he wants to understand. "Why have they done this?" At a time, I shined the educator. Then I dropped arms for two years. I was scared to do anything. I hated most situation, I became mad.
Today, I the plains.Mainly his relatives who suffer because of it. But everyone needs to know that my children and myself have been destroyed. "And perhaps fatally."
After years of struggle, Patrick Talois summarized a grotesque situation: "When I did the bullshit over 22 years ago I've been punished but I knew why." "Here, I have never known the reasons."
