It has more House, but nevertheless is trying to keep morale. Since 6 September, Catherine lives with three of her children and her granddaughter in the street. This 48-year-old mother is forced to sleep with friends to not spend his nights out. Old used in the restoration, she lived for eleven years in a two-room apartment of 50 m2 of a condominium private Marius Jacotot Street, in Puteaux.
MY ACTIVITY

Beginning of 2011, she received a notice of eviction for non-payment of rent. It was €7000 to the owner. If, from the outside, the condominium has rather deteriorated air (electrical wires buried, apartment doors similar to doors of room...), it presents, according to the Town Hall, no real danger for its inhabitants and is not therefore classified as unhealthy. A finding that is not sharing Catherine.
«I paying more because the owner did not want to perform in my home.» I had to beat me so there is some, but there were still problems. The Windows were not isolated, there was a lot of moisture, the kitchen and the bathroom even collapsed. The accommodation was full of cockroaches... "describes this mother of six unemployed. "I have more managed to work from the moment I knew that was going to be in the street." I can't sleep. My daughter 15 years either. »
«October 6, my former apartment will be empty.
When she found out that she was going to be deported, Catherine has applied for social housing at the City Hall of Puteaux without it succeed. "The city has more than 30% of social housing. More than the current rules. But we are overwhelmed by requests. We receive 9000 files per year for 250 seats available. Wait five or six years to get an apartment. 'Except in case of emergency', explains the Town Hall. This is precisely the rub. From the Town Hall, Catherine did not specify in its written submissions that it was threatened with expulsion. The mother, her, says otherwise. "It is precisely because I knew I was going to be deported I asked social housing."
At the same time, she did a claim enforceable housing (Dalo) in September 2011 from the prefecture. "I was told that it would take at least two years then I abandoned ', she acknowledges. "When this lady made its request of Dalo, it first was rejected because it did not provide all the necessary papers." And, in the end, we do never received them. "The procedure therefore could not succeed", described, for its part, the prefecture. Meanwhile, Catherine and her family are still seeking housing. And quickly. «October 6, my former apartment will be empty.» Will I lose all my furniture because I have no where to store them. »
