Sign the petition, so that the House of Thierry, is connected to the electric networks, it is a question of life or death. August 21, 2013 by farindiya My Thierry, disabled spouse for more than 85%, suffers a heavy disease which can be fatal and should be assisted by electrical equipment. But for more than 6 years, City Hall refuses to connect our House for electricity, while we badly need. We live in a hamlet of a few houses near Agde, in Vias exactly. While other houses of this hamlet are connected, ours and that of an old lady are not. However, Thierry needs electrical equipment permanently: it suffers from respiratory failure and must be assisted by a bronchodilator and night ventilation to breathe. To survive, we use a generator, which costs nearly 800 euros petrol per month (not counting the price of generators that have a lifespan of approximately 18 months), while my income is very limited and my husband lives with his disability benefits, or 700 euros per month. We have no choice; We spent close to 20 000 euros three years to allow my spouse to survive, and then we arrive at the end of our resources. Thierry lives in this House for more than 17 years. The Mayor contrasted today that this land is in the green zone and that it cannot connect houses built in these areas. But then, why have connected nearby houses? In addition, a transformer which can supply (in the words of EDF) one, or even two subdivisions, is located just 70 metres from our House. We reported our situation to the authorities, but no avail. My husband's doctor even wrote a letter to the Mayor to make him understand that this was a matter of life and death for him, but the Town Hall wants to hear anything. We are overcome by force, we need your help. Is it you please sign this petition and share it around you. If we are thousands, the Mayor must act and finally accept to connect our home network EDF.
