A mother whose 21-month-old daughter died in foster care two years ago continues the Ministry of children and the development of the family of British Colombia.
Sara Jane Wiens says that the Government has supported her baby, little Isabella, when she was only two months. The mother was declared incapable of being a parent, because of learning difficulties.
The child was placed in foster care, and was found dead in March 2013. The coroner's report the cause of death has not been determined, but revealed that Isabella had bruises the arms, legs and face, as well as a fractured arm.
"They tell me that I cannot be a parent, I am dangerous and that I could hurt my child... and then they take it to me, place it in foster care and she eventually died." - Sara Jane Wiens, mother of the small Isabella
Ms. Wiens submits that when she raised concerns about the welfare of his daughter during supervised visits, it was ignored.

"I noticed bruises and constant diaper rash, but they did not take into account," she said.
According to his lawyer Jack Hittrich, it was a challenge for Ms. Wiens to get the coroner's report. He pointed out that the mother wants to know if the death of Isabella and the host family are being investigated.
"It is reprehensible that the Ministry, which is responsible for the protection of children is primarily responsible for her death." - Jack Hittrich, lawyer for Sara Jane WIens
The Minister of children and the development of the province, Stephanie Cadieux family, says not being able to go into the details.
"It's tragic when a child dies, and I sympathize with the mother... I can't tell more about a circumstance that may, or may not, be related to the Department," she said.
