RAZAFY JEAN Air Transport - the mission of the EU at work
February 14, 2014 by farindiya | Edit Air transport - the mission of the EU at work JEAN ROBERT RAZAFY A delegation composed of experts from the European Union arrived in Madagascar. They are going to see on site the veracity of the reforms announced in the documents. Four decisive days for Air Madagascar. A mission of the European Union arrived in the country yesterday until Friday to assess Air Madagascar, as well as the capacity of the Civil Aviation of Madagascar (ACM), to ensure its role as an aviation authority. The conclusion of this mission will be decisive for the country, because its report will be submitted to the Committee on aviation safety in the European Union which will meet in March. The latter may then decide or not, the output of Air Madagascar of Annex B, which prohibits its aircraft to fly in the sky under Malagasy registration. "This is a mission scheduled for a few months. In a manner general it controls field reforms and program of correction that were presented in documents written", says the phone Jean Robert Razafy, Director-general of the ACM. The delegation is composed of three persons who are specialized to three specific areas, including flight operations, airworthiness, and staff. According to information obtained from the ACM, the mission is already at work and is spider monkey still currently working on the documents. "They work from morning till evening. '' We provide, obviously all els documents they ask", reveals, without giving further details, the patron of the Malagasy civil aviation. Mission blurred in other words, at this stage of things nothing yet to predict the verdict of this mission. In any case, the Malagasy part is already aware of the expectations that revolve around a few paradigms, on which this task will be attentive. First, the ACM must show that there really is an air authority in Madagascar. Then, she must prove that she knows the problems in its sector, knows how to solve, and what it must do to make. "This is a battle that Madagascar should lead. And I, when I am on the battlefield, my goal is to win, and all to implement to reach it,"said Executive Director of the CMA, a way for him to respond to skeptics, about the possibility of a positive outcome with optimism. The European union is updating, twice per year, its blacklist of companies, initially in the month of April, and then, in November, and the fate of the national airline will be known soon. The ACM will be, obviously, in the heart of the attention of this mission who stays in the country now. But the struggle is the same for this entity, and the Air Madagascar company and their destinies are intertwined. A problem that would be observed in Air Madagascar, for example, would imply a failure at the level of the supervisory authority. Furthermore, a problem at the level of the ACM have adverse impacts on the sanction that weighs on Air Madagascar. Muhd Rafiq
